Stone Circles of Aberdeenshire and Beyond


This is a personal website devoted to the Stone Circles of the UK. I have visited these stone circles from Cornwall to the Outer Hebrides, always with a camera, and my many photos and notes can be found here. Now living in Aberdeenshire, Scotland, I have access to several hundred of these enigmatic stone circles, standing stones and burial cairns, and my aim is to continue to update this site as I visit them.

Since starting this site in August 2006, I have had several thousand visitors, and have added a dozen more circles, together with some items for you to download.  I hope that this site will interest all lovers of Stone Circles, together with those whose distance may prevent them from visiting these wonderful ancient sites.
